We are currently seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to oversee and manage our financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing, Rent Roll/property Accounts Payable and Receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to management to help with business decisions, cost control, and profitability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MYOB - A MUST.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
