Business Analysis Position

ING is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in banking products and finance, particularly in accounting and reporting within a banking environment. The role emphasizes collaboration, agile mindset, and effective communication to deliver changes that align with the Finance strategy.

The successful candidate will work within the Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Tribe, collaborating with stakeholders and users to implement financial services across multiple domains and countries, focusing on accounting, reporting, data, and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex finance business issues that span multiple teams and deliver comprehensive change solutions.
  • Produce well-substantiated analyses using current techniques, creating functional designs that cover change deliverables with emphasis on process design and its translation to IT.
  • Coordinate content across specialists from various domains to ensure stakeholder requirements are considered in analyses and solution designs.
  • Support decision-making by presenting different functional and solution design alternatives and their impacts, translating business and non-functional requirements into IT solution requirements.

Analysis Techniques: Elicit complete, consistent, high-quality requirements; translate, maintain, and adjust designs; assist Product Owners in backlog management and translating tasks into features and user stories.

Process Improvement: Analyze current processes, identify problems and root causes, and design clear process solutions.

Data Assessment: Assess inputs/outputs and data adjustments, evaluate data quality, and propose improvements.

Risk Management: Translate Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal policies into design solutions.

Requirements:
  • Education at Bachelor/Master level in (business) administration or comparable.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Business Analysis.
  • Strong English communication skills; ability to present analyses clearly.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience in business and IT in areas such as process management and financial services.
  • Ability to take responsibility and drive work to completion; strive for high-performing teamwork.
