Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for managing the design process from start to finish, ensuring that all client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design process, including creating detailed furniture plans and specifications.
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to manage the design process.
  • Assist in the management of client programming processes.
  • Select furniture specifications and finishes based on client communication and programming.
  • Research and plan various styles of furniture design and trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of major product lines and U.S. building codes.
  • Generate sample designs using CAD plans, boards, sketches, binders, and 3D color renderings.
  • Obtain approval from relevant stakeholders and originate scale or full-size drawings.
  • Prepare itemized specifications and detailed final designs and installation drawings.
  • Serve as liaison between operations and sales departments.
  • Evaluate issues related to pricing, purchasing, safety, ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing methods.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (with or without licensure).
  • At least 3 years of post-graduate, full-time professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and remain organized.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in CET software (primary tool used) and secondary proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, CAP, Configura/Smarttools, SketchUp, and Project Matrix.
