Job Title: Database Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database systems, with expertise in planning, deploying, upgrading, migrating, and troubleshooting complex database environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive database strategies to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable database solutions.
  • Optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Design and implement effective backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in database administration, with expertise in DB2.
  • Proficient in IBM AIX, Unix, and Power environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
