Business & Quality Analyst - Insurance/Financial Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Business and Quality Analyst with experience in insurance and financial expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse the current and future business environment and systems landscape to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and client project requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements documents that capture context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.
  • Present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.
  • Work closely with product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy.
  • Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.
  • Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Validate test case scenarios against BRDs and audit test case results performed by UAT testers.
  • Ensure adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.
  • Share best practices and insights with the wider team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and peer knowledge-sharing activities.]
    • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business analysis, data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field is required.
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a business analyst, with a focus on data systems and management is preferred.
    • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery is essential.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels are required.
    • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation) is essential.
    • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, are necessary.
    • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure) is an advantage.
