Renewable Energy Specialist

The position involves creating custom proposals that demonstrate the expected solar panel layout and production of a customer's system, based on aerial imagery and 3D modeling software.

The Renewable Energy Specialist will be responsible for ensuring solar designs meet customer preferences, company policies, and local, state, and national codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales and installation teams in ensuring solar designs meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Create 3D models of homes and their surroundings using aerial imagery and web-based software.
  • Develop custom proposals showcasing customers the expected solar panel layout and production.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience with designing and/or constructing solar electric systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in solar production modeling software (e.g., Aurora) is desired.
  • Knowledge of residential electrical and roofing standards is advantageous.
  • National Electrical Code and local building codes are beneficial to know.
  • NABCEP associate certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software is an asset.
  • AutoCAD proficiency is a valuable skill.
