Seeking a qualified Solar Farm Structures Designer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced structural designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing piles, steel structures, foundations, and solar farm buildings for renewable energy projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough structural calculations and analysis for piles, steel structures, and foundations.
  • Create detailed structural drawings for solar farm structures and buildings.
  • Design foundation systems and steel framework for solar installations.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and engineering reports.
  • Evaluate designs to ensure they meet industry codes and standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with structural design and solar farm projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with listed software programs is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and structural design standards.
  • Excellent analytical and technical drawing skills.

  • LPile – Lateral load analysis of piles
  • Mathcad – Structural engineering calculations
  • AutoCAD – Drafting and pile layout plans
  • Civil 3D – Site grading, surfaces, alignments
  • Bluebeam Revu – Plan markups and PDF reviews

  • Microsoft Word/PowerPoint – Reporting and presentations
  • ASCE 7 / IBC / ACI 318 / AISC Manual – Structural design codes and standards
