Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our global IT Service Delivery organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for desktop engineering team within IT Service Delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop engineering, including experience with Intune Microsoft Endpoint Management, Windows patching, and hardware specifications. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to define and document support procedures.

As a key contributor to the Desktop Engineering team, you will design and set up infrastructure, administer and integrate co-management, configure policies, package and deploy applications, build and configure software, conduct audits, troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, manage Office365 functions, coordinate with other IT departments, review and report on desktop environment health, ensure seamless interconnection of desktop computers with other systems, assist with infrastructure and data center management tasks, collaborate with procurement staff, work with support teams, document IT desktop engineering procedures, apply business focus to all tasks, measure results, and report accordingly.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for candidates who are fast learners, enthusiastic about high-quality service delivery, calm and focused under pressure, flexible working hours to support multiple time zones, and Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Endpoint Manager Administrator are highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience with autopilot deployments, applications, and patches using Intune and deployment rings.
  • 3+ years' experience with Intune Azure Cloud migration and supporting Windows 10/11 & Office 365.
  • 5+ years' experience supporting PCs and laptops, including building, installing, and troubleshooting.
  • 3-5 years' experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Extensive experience with Azure AD and Intune, especially implementation and management.
  • Experience with MacOS device management (AirWatch, Intune MDM), VMware Horizon, Workspace One is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hardware platforms like Dell, Lenovo, HP, Apple; support for iOS and Android devices.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting from scratch.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and structured Service Desk functions.
