We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for implementing key account and client management plans to retain and strengthen client relationships. You will deliver high-quality customer service and resolve client issues to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
You will engage clients by identifying their business needs and preparing tailored proposals and quotations. Additionally, you will support the development and administration of key account management processes and policies to expand current customer relationships.
This role involves collaborating on industry-specific relationship management activities and coordinating customer-facing roles. You will also lead process improvement initiatives by identifying and recommending innovative solutions to complex problems.
Key Responsibilities- Implement key account and client management plans to retain and strengthen client relationships.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve client issues to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
- Engage clients by identifying their business needs and preparing tailored proposals and quotations.
- Support the development and administration of key account management processes and policies to expand current customer relationships.
- Collaborate on industry-specific relationship management activities and coordinate customer-facing roles.
- A recognized subject matter expert in key account management, demonstrated through advanced education and extensive work experience.
- Independently manage large, complex projects or end-to-end processes with minimal supervision.
- Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying and recommending innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Analyze internal and external business challenges and propose best practice solutions.
- Typically reports to Manager Level 3 or 4 (M3/M4).
- Serve as an individual contributor with accountability for key subject areas.
- May supervise up to two employees or external consultants on a project basis.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior employees and oversee their work quality.
- Collaborate and influence internal specialist departments and external partners.
- Advocate for adoption of new concepts and practices across teams.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership and company committees.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with managers and other stakeholders.
