Attorney Editor Job Description

As an Attorney Editor, you will play a crucial role in validating and directing the review and publishing of content updates for assigned jurisdictions and product lines. This position requires strong editorial judgment, ensuring the quality of our Editorial content and providing accurate information to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school or other equivalent legal training. They must be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and established proofreading skills. The successful applicant will also possess analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret and communicate complex legal material effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal interpretation through analysis and research to develop and review content for customers
  • Adhere to editorial publishing schedules and quality standards as required for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and develop legal knowledge and skills training as needed to complete your work and stay current on legal trends and developments
  • Demonstrate competence on company-specific systems, including customized editorial systems, necessary to perform your job functions
