Senior Director Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director Analyst to join our team.

  • About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and advising on research portfolios, communicating them to clients, and supporting sales in new sales and client retention.
  • This role will involve providing insight, predictions, and actionable advice to Chief Data and Analytics Officers, Data & Analytics Leaders, and leaders of D&A Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive client demand for Gartner's research through thought leadership
  • Utilize experience in related industry disciplines and deep knowledge of specific markets
  • Create and deliver high-value presentations, including webinars, client meetings, large stage presentations, and workshops at conferences
  • Answer client questions through 400-500 interactions each year
  • Assist the Sales organization in selling and retention on topics covered by your team
  • Provide high-quality and timely research peer review
  • Mentor and support team members after gaining experience

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in D&A Governance, D&A Leadership, or CDAO roles
  • Significant applicable experience in related industry disciplines and deep knowledge of specific markets
  • Strong writing skills, ability to explain complex ideas effectively
  • Expertise in Data & Analytics Governance, including organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
