Senior Financial Manager

This role combines hands-on accounting work with leadership and client relationship management.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to oversee client accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers.

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers, ensuring they meet departmental goals and objectives.

Collaborate with management and clients to address financial inquiries, resolve issues, and provide strategic insights.

Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting practices.
