Accounting Manager Job Overview">

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to join our team. As the right-hand to the Controller, this individual will play a critical role in our high-performing accounting team.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver with strong accounting expertise and business acumen. They should be able to operate comfortably at both tactical and strategic levels, supporting higher-level initiatives while also taking ownership of core accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Month-End Close Process: The selected candidate will lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • General Ledger Analysis: They will analyze general ledger accounts, providing insights on significant variances.
  • Financial Reporting: This individual will assist in preparing internal financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and support management with variance analysis and commentary on financial trends and results.
  • Process Improvement: The candidate will contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal financial reporting packages and identify opportunities for automation and streamlining.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: They will reconcile all balance sheet accounts in FloQast, ensuring resolution of discrepancies and maintaining data integrity.
  • Tax Compliance: The Accounting Manager will ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all required tax forms, collaborating with external tax advisors as needed.
  • Audit Preparation: This individual will prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and other relevant regulations.
