Key Role Information

This position is responsible for assisting the team in overseeing and managing resolved loans. The Loan Portfolio Assistant will be involved in tracking and monitoring resolved loans, ensuring all necessary processes are adhered to.

  • Loan Resolution Monitoring: Track and manage resolved loans to guarantee compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Document Retrieval: Coordinate with legal representatives to obtain final Orders or Agreements.
  • Legal Document Analysis: Review and interpret legal documents to determine repayment obligations and financial implications.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with law firms to track loan resolution progress.
  • Account Closure Process: Prepare and distribute final statements to borrowers and relevant stakeholders upon successful loan repayment and resolution.
  • Asset Registration & Withdrawal: Assist in the registration and withdrawal of mortgages and caveats.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in loan administration, finance, legal services, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial documents, loan agreements, and legal orders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and follow up with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive client matters.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, monitor loan repayments, and liaise with law firms and clients. They will also be responsible for tracking the sale(s) of real property associated with the loan and assisting in the closure process of accounts.
