About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. As a key member of our compliance and monitoring team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers can use their accounts to their full extent while keeping our platform free of bad actors.

In this role, you will monitor messaging compliance in real-time, verify new account sign-ups, and approve live message content for customers. You will also detect and report fraudulent activity, take appropriate actions to block accounts, and stay up-to-date on new compliance updates.

As a compliance expert, you will:

  • Monitor and approve live message content for customers, looking for possible fraud, spam, and phishing content
  • Detect and report fraudulent activity and take appropriate actions to block accounts
  • Be a compliance expert - stay up-to-date on new compliance updates and share new information and best practices with teams across the business
  • Identify opportunities to educate customers about content guidelines and texting responsibly, working hand-in-hand with the support teams to ensure our customers are sending compliant messaging

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and precision when reviewing messages and identifying potential security risks
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective compliance strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • English as primary language; secondary languages a plus (bonus points for Spanish)
  • At least 1 year of experience providing live chat customer support for a software/SaaS platform or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role desired, particularly one that requires exceptionally high detail orientation
  • Demonstrable critical thinking, communication, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to drive improvements through to fruition
  • Ability to learn new software platforms quickly
  • Proven experience working autonomously
  • Self-starter, positive, can-do attitude, ability to continuously develop and adapt to a growing team
  • Highly organized, able to manage schedule and prioritize conflicting priorities
  • Familiarity with live chat, customer ticketing platforms, and CRM platforms
