Digital Marketing Compliance Specialist Role

This is a key role for overseeing compliance across various channels for clients, including email marketing, social media, and paid search. Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and regulatory standards is critical.

The Digital Marketing Compliance Specialist will be responsible for proactively monitoring brand compliance across third-party email campaigns, social media, paid search, and other advertising channels.

  • Monitor brand compliance across various channels, including email marketing, social media, and paid search.
  • Ensure publishers regularly download suppression files on a consistent cadence, monitor IDs and sub-IDs for accurate tracking and compliance, and submit/manage global opt-outs per regulations and company policies.
  • Verify that publishers use approved creatives, including subject lines and 'from' names. Ensure opt-out language and links are accurate, present, and functional.
  • Review paid search and social media ads to ensure adherence to client guidelines and standards.
  • Understand email marketing regulations like CAN-SPAM and compliance standards for paid media. Support compliance efforts through accurate reporting and risk mitigation practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for spotting compliance issues across various channels.
  • Familiarity with compliance tools is preferred, but training will be provided. Comfortable using monitoring tools and performing manual checks when necessary.
  • Understanding of email marketing regulations like CAN-SPAM and paid media compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, making it easy to collaborate with publishers and report findings to the team.
