We're seeking a highly qualified individual to assume the role of Academic Operations Director. In this capacity, you'll oversee the operational aspects of our Academic department, driving efficiency, quality, and growth.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational tasks for the EMC Academics team, ensuring the seamless execution of academic loads, onboarding, off-boarding, performance evaluations, policy development, and system implementation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the learning experience of our students, aligning with the Emerging Media and Communication (EMC) field.
- Provide guidance and support to faculty members, addressing concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the program head to review, revise, and develop curriculum, guaranteeing it remains current and relevant.
- Ensure that all college programs and courses emphasize the development of essential skills and values, preparing students for success in the industry.
- Deliver high-quality instruction, teaching EMC-related courses equivalent to 9 to 12 units per trimester.
We require a degree in Computer Science, Electronic and Multimedia Computing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in game development, game design, and/or game production. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English are also essential.
