Job Title

A Data Compliance Expert is required to ensure adherence to data protection regulations within an organization.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Data Protection in maintaining certification and registration with the National Privacy Commission.
  • Manage data privacy document archives and libraries.
  • Collaborate with business units to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA), and develop organizational, physical, and technical security measures.
  • Assist the Data Protection Officer in evaluating third-party vendors for privacy risks and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Work with the Data Protection Officer and business units to stay up-to-date on privacy requirements, identify concerns, and develop solutions.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve privacy-related issues and complaints.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in data privacy law in banking/financial and telco industries.
  • Understanding of data processing operations and data security requirements.
  • Experience in developing and assessing privacy policies and controls that minimize risk and ensure compliance.
