Compliance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with relevant laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Data Protection Officer in maintaining National Privacy Commission certifications and registrations.
  • Maintain data privacy document archives and libraries.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA), and develop appropriate organizational, physical and technical security measures.
  • Evaluate third-party vendors/counterparties for privacy risks and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with the Data Privacy Officer and business units to ensure compliance with privacy requirements.
  • Create and maintain training, communication and awareness materials on privacy and data protection.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience in Data Privacy Law in any Banking/Financial and Telco industry.
  • Understanding of data processing operations and data security requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and assessing privacy policies and controls that minimize risk and ensure compliance.
