Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing biweekly payrolls, addressing employee inquiries, and generating reports.


The ideal candidate will have experience with computerized payroll processing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  1. Process biweekly payrolls accurately and efficiently
  2. Resolve employee and management inquiries in a timely manner
  3. Generate and send reports as required
  4. Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy
  5. Maintain payroll system updated with current information
  6. Prepare funding forecasts for payroll funds
  7. Process termination payments and off-cycle payments
  8. Participate in payroll orientation for new hires
  9. Process year-end and annual tax reconciliation and preparation of employee and employer tax returns

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on business or accounting preferred
  • Experience with ADP, ORACLE HR/Payroll systems a plus
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • International payroll processing experience preferred
