Job Overview

We are seeking a senior professional with expertise in self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2+ years of experience working on Australian SMSFs.

The successful individual will be confident using Class Super and Excel, with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Experience with Xero and financial statement preparation is desirable, but we can provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super.
  • Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements.
  • Ensure compliance with ATO and Superannuation Industry requirements.
  • Work closely with auditors, administrators, and financial planners as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for SMSF clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, ensuring professional service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in SMSF workflows.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of Class Super.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, formulas, data analysis).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
