Logistics Executive

This role involves supporting overall supply logistics and importation processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Order and Shipment Coordination: Update order and shipment details through close coordination with other departments and regional supply chain team, flagging risks and opportunities as necessary.
  2. Import Process Efficiency: Ensure efficiency in import processes while ensuring compliance to all government regulations, including safekeeping of all documents related to importation.
  3. New Launches and Innovations: Work with Regulatory Pharmacist to ensure all new launches and innovations are registered in FDA prior ordering and arrival of stocks.
  4. Cargo Shipping and Clearance: Liaise with Clearing Agents, Forwarders, internal customers, and principals from cargo shipping arrangement to clearance at Customs and timely delivery to warehouse.
  5. Shipping Document Accuracy: Ensures accuracy of shipping documents and checks completeness of documents required to release shipment including COO as needed to reduce duties and tax.
  6. Forwarder Billing Discrepancies: Review and check the accuracy of the forwarder's actual billing against agreed quotation. File a dispute for discrepancies.
  7. Import Document Consolidation: Prepares and consolidates needed import documents for record keeping and forwarding these to AP as a requirement to ensure on-time payment to the billings of forwarder.
  8. Inbound Shipments Booking: Ensures that all inbound shipments received are booked as payable per vendor through SAP system transaction (MIRO) and coordination with Finance.
  9. Monthly Goods in Transit Report:
  10. Shipment Cost Summary: Reports summary of shipment cost for F&B and CDT and updates PO condition in SAP quarterly as required by Luxasia or JVs.
  11. Claims Processing: In-charge processing claims to business partner and forwarder, including write-off system transaction of inbound delivery's non-compliances such as shortages and damages.

  • Preferably Licensed Customs Broker
