Senior Financial Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to fill this position.

About the Position

This is a key role within our accounting team, responsible for managing financial operations across multiple companies. As a senior accountant, you will work closely with the management team to develop and implement accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.

  • Manage the entire month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the development of new accounting systems and procedures, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.
  • Assist with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
  • Assist with annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors.
  • Manage corporate credit card programs, ensuring responsible use and effective monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting required.
  • Experience working with US companies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines.
  • Strong relationship skills, with ability to work with others at all levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership.
