The role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant. As Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting and financial reporting functions of the company. This is a full-time position and offers excellent opportunities for career development within a dynamic and growing organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reports and accounting related tasks.

  2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc reports

  3. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies

  4. Ensure that all regulatory requirements are in compliance.

  5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team to support strategic decision-making

  6. Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

  2. Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) but not required

  3. At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably in the furniture, import and export industry.

  4. Excellent knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis

  5. Strong proficiency in financial systems and software, such as ERP and accounting software

  6. Proven ability to lead and manage an accounting team

  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  8. Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php50,000.00 per month
