Chief Financial Officer for Portfolio Companies

We are actively seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join our team as we expand our portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of multiple companies and providing strategic guidance to management teams. Your expertise in accounting principles and practices will be invaluable in helping us drive growth and profitability across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire month-end close process for multiple companies.
  • Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.
  • Assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.
  • Assist with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
  • Assist with annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors.
  • Manage corporate credit card programs.
  • Be willing to step in to help with any accounting function if necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting required.
  • Experience working with US companies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong relationship skills with the ability to work with others at all levels.
  • QuickBooks Online and Xero experience.
