A Data Quality Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of market data across multiple platforms, distinguishing our organization's offering in a competitive market.

To succeed in this position, one must adopt a proactive approach to monitoring real-time data systems, swiftly diagnosing anomalies, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring real-time price validation systems to detect and fix data errors and delays

  • Triage anomalies and anticipate the impact of market-moving events to improve data quality parameters

  • Escalating data issues to internal teams and external data providers, ensuring clear documentation of the problem, its impact, and any interim workarounds

  • Conducting in-depth data analysis and fault diagnostics to identify the root causes of anomalies, delays, or inaccuracies in market data

  • Collaborating with technical and analytics teams to maintain system functionality

  • Participating in system enhancement initiatives by providing feedback on data validation tools and workflows; supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features

Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with financial markets and data flows

  • Experience with real-time data monitoring tools and QA applications

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
