As a skilled professional, you will play a pivotal role in our data operations team. We are seeking an individual to fill the position of Data Operations Associate, where you will be responsible for managing data dictionaries and collection manuals, assisting senior staff with data collection tools, and performing processes to maintain superior data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and manage data dictionaries and collection manuals to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Assist senior staff in managing data collection tools, including defining data methodology and coverage, collaborating with project managers to set up project plans and prioritize roadmaps, and working with technology teams to develop sustainable database schema.

  • Perform defined processes to maintain superior data quality, including developing and implementing diagnostic checks within collection applications and leveraging technical skills to investigate data issues and develop systematic solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance with strong programming skills, or Computer Science preferred.

  • At least 4-7 years of data analyses or management experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand business user requirements, assist in designing technical solutions, write manuals, and conduct user trainings.

  • Technical skills required include proficiency in writing SQL queries in MS SQL Server and a general understanding of databases.

  • Experience using MS Excel VBA programming integrating with MS SQL, MS Access, and XML. Python experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success in improving data quality and efficient data collections and strong detail-orientation.

  • Multi-tasking ability, including ability to be effective on multiple projects at the same time.

  • Knowledge in US mutual fund industry is an advantage.

  • A strong work ethic and personal drive to achieve project goals.
