We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide top-notch support to our global user base.
This role involves handling escalated issues from lower-level support, performing root cause analysis, and implementing permanent solutions. You will be responsible for managing incidents and service requests using ITSM tools, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Tier 2 Support & Troubleshooting: Handle complex technical issues across various hardware, software, network, and application platforms.
- Incident & Request Management: Resolve tickets efficiently using ITSM tools, guaranteeing accurate documentation and prompt updates to stakeholders.
- Hardware & Software Support: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and business-critical applications.
- Account & Access Management: Administer user accounts, permissions, and security settings across Active Directory, SSO platforms, SaaS applications, and collaboration tools.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular system checks, software installations, updates, and patching to ensure compliance and system health.
- Knowledgebase & Documentation: Develop internal knowledgebase articles to enhance resolution efficiency and promote self-service.
- Collaboration & Escalation: Work closely with engineering, security, and vendor support teams to resolve high-complexity incidents and infrastructure issues.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience supporting IAM platforms, familiarity with enterprise applications, and a solid understanding of SAML, SCIM, and OAuth-based integrations.
- Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, including Universal Directory, SSO, MFA, and application assignments.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications like Microsoft 365, Intune MDM, Kandji, Microsoft Exchange, GSuite, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Zoom, and Slack.
- Solid understanding of SAML, SCIM, and OAuth-based application integrations.
- Proficiency in supporting macOS, Windows 10/11, and Linux environments.
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently to resolve technical issues.
- Working knowledge of system provisioning, OS configuration, and patch management.
- Proactive approach to continuous learning and problem-solving in a dynamic IT environment.
- Coursework in IT or a related field, or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
