Job Title: Digital Building Integration Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the integration of digital building systems, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality analytics delivery.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Digital Building Engineers rely on installation of Data Collection Services, discovery of data, and organization.
  • Troubleshooting Diagnostics for automated fault detection on customer HVAC equipment is crucial.
  • Data analysis involves reviewing findings and validating results reported by software.
  • Training users on Data Transfer Service, data connectivity, and related networking issues is essential.
  • Ongoing support of connected sites is also necessary.
Requirements
  • A confident, self-motivated individual with a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and partners.
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics is ideal.
  • Experience with BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus is preferred.
  • Knowledge of BAS networking principles and metadata applications is beneficial.

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and interest in building systems is ideal.
  • A certificate in basic networking or computer fundamentals is required.
  • Learns technical solutions quickly and strives to improve upon them.
  • Effectively communicates technical information to customers and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Is thorough, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Can creatively streamline processes and find efficiencies for executing complex tasks.
