Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bid Coordinator to support our estimating team in managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines. This role ensures that all bids are submitted accurately and on time, working closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to gather required information.

Bid Preparation and Submission:

  • Lead the coordination and preparation of comprehensive bid packages and proposals for construction projects.

  • Ensure timely submission of RFPs internally in compliance with requirements set out in the request for proposal documents.

Document Management:

  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.

  • Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines.

Team Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and team members to gather necessary information and facilitate the preparation of comprehensive bids.

  • Independently manage workload calendars and track customer contacts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience is an asset.

  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings is beneficial.

  • Proven multitasking abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

  • High levels of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines.

  • Positive attitude towards customers and team members.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage self-initiated tasks.
