Telecommunications Contract Assistant

The Telecommunications Contract Assistant will provide administrative support to attorneys in the preparation, review, and management of telecommunications contracts.

  • Assist with service agreements, licensing deals, and vendor contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local telecommunications laws.
  • Conduct research on telecommunications regulations and track changes in telecom regulations.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, corporate records, and document databases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications regulations and agencies, as well as excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

They will also be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management software.

This is an entry-level position that requires 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in contract preparation, review, and management.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local telecommunications laws.
  • Conduct research on telecommunications regulations.
  • Prepare summaries and track changes in telecom regulations.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred.
  • 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience (telecom industry experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and agencies.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management software.
