  • Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, and management of telecommunications contracts (e.g., service agreements, licensing deals, vendor contracts).
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local telecommunications laws, including FCC regulations.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research, prepare summaries, and monitor changes in telecom regulations.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, corporate records, and document databases.
  • Assist with the filing and tracking of regulatory reports and licenses.
  • Help prepare materials for hearings, negotiations, and meetings with government entities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, operations, compliance) to gather information for legal and contractual matters.
  • Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Provide litigation support, including discovery coordination and document production.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and business information.
  • Retrieve expired contracts and prepare draft MOAs for renewal.
  • Request validation from Facilities Operations (FO) via email for solutions/facilities within the P1 contract scope.
  • Prepare and submit site lists for Payment Validation and Reconciliation to PPM.
  • Support data processing for weekly, monthly (dashboards), quarterly, year-end, and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring project issues and dependencies.
  • Provide reliable and accurate reporting of all routed contracts.
  • Perform other BAU tasks as required by the Project Lead/Team Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred.
  • 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience (telecom industry experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and agencies (e.g., FCC, FTC, state PUCs).
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
