Job Title: Performance Optimization Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Performance Optimization Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the existing product portfolio against customer value and set key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also recommend and implement corrective measures to ensure achievement of set goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, capable of gathering and analyzing financial data. They will also have experience in using advanced business intelligence software such as SAS and be adept at using Excel to process and prepare data.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, independent, and has a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the existing product portfolio against customer value and set KPIs
  • Recommend and implement corrective measures to ensure achievement of set goals
  • Track product performance vs. business objectives and put in place levers that will allow the company to hit VONB or other relevant targets
  • Provide sales support through regular report generation of product performance
  • Monitor performance of newly launched products through report generation and analysis
  • Coordinate with Actuarial on factors affecting VONB and VONB margin
  • Collaborate with Distribution Support for promotion of product/s in-focus
  • Support preparation of business plans and strategies to align with company forecasts and goals
 Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance, Business or other data-related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong mathematical skills, capable of gathering and analyzing financial data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing and organizing data into insightful recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Highly adept at using Excel to process and prepare data
  • Experience in using advanced business intelligence software such as SAS is an advantage
