Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling inbound shipments, tracking shipments from suppliers and manufacturers, and selecting transportation methods based on guidance from team members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate shipment schedules with suppliers and manufacturers.
    • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Select transportation methods based on guidance from team members.
  • Documentation Support:
    • Prepare and organize import documentation.
    • E nsure documents are accurate and complete.
    • Filing and sharing documents with relevant teams or partners.
  • Compliance Assistance:
    • Support the team in learning and following customs and import regulations.
    • Gather documents for customs brokers and internal use.
    • Lear n about the customs clearance process and help resolve minor issues under supervision.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Support:
    • Document processes and update internal SOPs as directed.
    • Improve team workflows through feedback and collaboration.
    • Communicate with suppliers via email or phone to confirm shipment details.
    • Report shipment status and updates to internal teams.
    • Resolve fundamental shipment discrepancies with guidance.
  • Cost Awareness & Optimization Support:
    • Assist in gathering quotes and rate comparisons for shipments.
    • Tracking and logging shipping-related expenses.
    • Report delays or issues to senior staff.
    • Document and track shipping challenges.
    • Support contingency planning and problem resolution.
