Procurement Specialist Role Summary

  • Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Identify, select, and contract qualified vendors to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor information, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and negotiate prices with vendors.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

A strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and laws is required.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential.

Experience working in a similar role or industry is preferred.

Familiarity with local market conditions and regulations is advantageous.

The selected candidate will be based in Cebu and work remotely with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), or related fields.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction or a related industry.
  • Strong background in procurement and construction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage time efficiently.

Willng to undergo training in Manila before being assigned to Cebu.

Must be able to conduct occasional site visits within Cebu and nearby project locations.
