Job Overview

The role of a Procurement Specialist is pivotal in supporting the procurement function. They source and manage vendors, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and provide administrative support to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Sourcing & Management
    • Solicit reliable suppliers and vendors based on project requirements.
    • Maintain and update vendor databases for efficient tracking.
  • Procurement & Negotiation Support
    • Assist in pre-sales and procurement processes including canvassing, proposal gathering, and initial vendor negotiations.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and vendor comparisons for endorsement to Senior Procurement Officer.
  • Project & Site Support
    • Carry out site visits to ensure proper mobilization of manpower, deliveries, and equipment.
    • Monitor project progress and report updates to the team.
  • Administrative Support
    • Prepare reports, documentation, and procurement records.
    • Provide clerical assistance as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction or related industry.
  • Background in procurement and construction is essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

This position demands initiative, problem-solving skills, and strong time management capabilities. Occasional site visits within Cebu and nearby project locations are expected.
