Job Summary:

The Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end release process, ensuring seamless delivery of software and system releases.

This role requires strategic planning, effective coordination, and strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence in the planning, scheduling, and execution of all releases.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in release management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement release strategies, ensuring timely and high-quality software releases.
  • Coordinate across teams, including development, testing, and operations, to streamline release cycles.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all releases, including emergency fixes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date release documentation, including plans, notes, and risk assessments.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the release pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members involved in the release process.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in release management within a technology department.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release pipelines.
  • Expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology systems and industry compliance standards.
  • A results-driven approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
