Software Test Engineer (Manual and Automation)
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases.
Responsibilities:
- Creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for automated and manual testing.
- Developing scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
- Contributing to implement repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
- Planning the budget and labour needs of each sprint and product releases.
- Working in a dedicated squad team and helping to drive product quality.
- Ensuring all assigned testing deliverables timelines are met within the sprint and product release.
- Creating and communicating test reports for stakeholders.
- Liaising with business users, business analysts, and engineers to resolve assigned defects.
- Maintaining awareness of external environments and trends in testing to contribute to process improvement.
- Promoting productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Coaching and training other team members on manual and automated testing.
