
Remote HR Professional

The ideal candidate will be a strategic HR professional with a deep understanding of US employment law, recruitment, and operations.
They will excel in remote work environments and take pride in building organizational foundations from the ground up.
Responsibilities:- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and hire talented legal and administrative staff.
- Create detailed job descriptions and offer letters aligned with US labor laws and regulations.
- Candidate Pipelining and optimizing ATS tools to streamline recruitment processes.
- Compliance and Policy Development: Draft and maintain compliant HR policies, employee handbooks, and legal hiring protocols.
- Ensure adherence to US federal/state regulations (e.g., FLSA, EEOC, I-9, FMLA).
- Structured Onboarding and Training: Build and oversee efficient onboarding and training cycles for new hires.
- Create SOPs for employee roles, performance evaluations, and HR documentation.
- Help standardize internal workflows, time tracking, vacation policies, and performance reviews.
- Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with leadership on staffing plans and strategic HR development.
- Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping, and employee satisfaction programs.
- Support the development of a scalable firm culture and retention-focused systems.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR/recruitment, preferably with US-based clients or the legal industry.
- Labor Regulations Expertise: Strong knowledge of US labor regulations and HR best practices.
- Experience creating HR policies, onboarding programs, and internal systems.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Proactive, organized, tech-savvy, and self-directed.
- Bonus: Familiarity with US law firms, SHRM-CP/PHR certification, or tools like Gusto, Asana, or ClickUp.
