Job Overview

We seek a highly skilled Mortgage Support Specialist to provide administrative support in mortgage broker processes and software proficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Broker throughout the loan application process, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations.
  • Support brokers at all stages of the loan process, from initial contact through to settlement, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to Mortgage Brokers and their applications, maintaining accurate records and data entry.
  • Gather client information, liaise directly with clients, and request supporting documentation as required.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessments, and funding position based on client objectives and situations.
  • Research lender policies and procedures to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare loan comparisons and package client loan applications accurately, adhering to bank requirements.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting to ensure timely settlements and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance-related matters are addressed, capturing documentation and data in the CRM system, maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Complete loan serviceability, order valuations, prepare forms, gather rate quotes, arrange loan doc execution, and settle with stakeholders efficiently.
Requirements
  • A minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems, with ability to learn new software quickly.
  • A passion for delivering quality client outcomes, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of data privacy, Australian Best Interest Duty, and Responsible Lending legislation, with a commitment to compliance.
  • Accountability and accuracy in work, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • An understanding of mortgages language and end-to-end loan application process, with ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment, with adaptability and flexibility.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand financial documents and assess PAYG applications, with analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
