Job Title: Mortgage Support Specialist

As a key member of our team, the Mortgage Support Specialist plays a vital role in the mortgage industry by providing strategic support to debt advisory specialists. Their primary responsibility is to prepare evidence, data, and research before engagement to enable efficient delivery of advisory work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish workflows, prepare broker handovers, and analyze financial statements & tax returns.
  • Conduct market trend research and regulatory change analysis; compile weekly intelligence reports and coordinate valuations with lenders.
  • Manage project timelines, follow up on disputes and reorders, and provide clear summaries and presentation materials from templates.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and maintain a reference database for future use; ensure professional client communication.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Mortgage industry expertise – rates, products, lending criteria.
  • Credit assessment proficiency – reports, scoring, serviceability calculations.
  • Financial analysis skills – statements, tax returns, complex income structures.
  • Regulatory compliance – NCCP, responsible lending, and related standards.
  • Technical: Proficiency in Quickli platform, Broker Engine, advanced Excel/Sheets, strong research methodology.
  • Communication: Professional written communication, cross-functional collaboration, presentation capabilities.
