Job Description:

As a highly organized and personable Intake Specialist, you will be the initial point of contact for patients seeking speech therapy services.

Your primary responsibility is to guide patients through the intake process, answering basic questions, estimating insurance coverage, and scheduling appointments with the right therapist.

  • Respond to inbound leads via phone and text, building trust and connection quickly while representing our practices with professionalism and empathy.
  • Use proprietary tools to estimate out-of-pocket insurance costs and match patients with suitable therapists based on location, specialty, and insurance compatibility.
  • Schedule evaluations and follow-ups using Electronic Health Record (EHR) and calendar tools, maintaining organized records of all communications and outcomes across multiple practices.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized across multiple systems.

You should be tech-savvy and comfortable navigating Customer Relationship Management (CRM), scheduling tools, and communication platforms.

Availability to work weekends is mandatory.
