General Accounting Manager

We are seeking a seasoned General Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting. This critical role involves overseeing the accuracy of our general ledger, ensuring timely period-end closings across entities, and providing strategic financial insights to inform key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the general ledger and sub-ledger to guarantee accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Timely month-end and year-end closings of accounts to maintain fiscal transparency and integrity
  • Review of major Balance Sheet and Income Statement schedules to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance
  • Compliance with local pharmaceutical industry tax regulations and audit requirements to minimize risk and ensure regulatory adherence
  • Leadership, mentorship, and training of accounting staff to foster a culture of excellence and professional development
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external auditors during reviews to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of any issues that may arise
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in general ledger and financial reporting within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance in pharmaceuticals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
