Transportation plays a pivotal role in the supply chain of healthcare providers, ensuring timely delivery of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in transportation planning, with experience working in freight brokerage companies or within transportation management systems.

About the Role:

This position involves collaborating closely with customers to provide top-notch same-day and next-day transportation services, utilizing a Logistics Operations team environment.The responsibilities include proactively addressing customer, shipper, and carrier service requests and inquiries, as well as ensuring that all planned activities are entered into the appropriate technology and dispatched to the correct carrier service provider.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers regarding potential service disruptions and recovery plans.
  • Monitor the status of planned activities and collaborate with carriers to resolve any issues related to pickup or delivery.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in transportation planning or shipping activities preferred.
  • Prior experience working in freight brokerage companies or within transportation management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Amenable to work mid-shift and during weekends.
