
Revenue Generation Professional

This role is responsible for securing revenue generated by the sales organization, building strong customer relationships, and fostering positive interactions with customers to drive ongoing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact business-to-business (B2B) customers via phone, email, or fax to discuss outstanding invoices and billing issues.
- Manage a collections portfolio ranging from 300 to 600 accounts, focusing on Canadian and/or US territories. Approximately 40 customer contacts per day are suggested, including email and telephone calls.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts and champion receivable policy.
- Manage past-due hold requests within SLA to mitigate risk to the organization by assessing customer accounts and making decisions to release orders up to $50K for each request.
- Work with internal sales reps to proactively troubleshoot payment issues.
- Document and track collections activity and work from monthly aging report.
- Manage individual and department monthly receivable targets.
- A completed college diploma in Accounting or Finance or related experience.
- Two to three years of experience in corporate (B2B) collections, focusing on medium to enterprise-level customers.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable escalation process and taking initiative to resolve account issues.
- A good understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
