Job Title: Senior Loan Processing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Loan Processing Specialist to join our team. As a senior member of our loan processing department, you will play a crucial role in supporting mortgage brokers by handling end-to-end loan processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist mortgage brokers with loan application preparation, submission, and follow-up
  • Collect, verify, and manage required documentation from clients
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure timely loan processing
  • Track loan applications through to settlement, providing updates to all stakeholders
  • Maintain client records accurately in CRM systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally
  • Stay up-to-date with lender policies, products, and industry changes
  • Support mortgage brokers with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Handle lodgements, compliance checks, pricing requests, variations, and discharges
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker Assistant (senior level preferred), with at least 5 years of experience in the field
  • Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, lender requirements, and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, loan submission platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills
