Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Loan Specialist to join our growing operations team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to learn from industry-leading systematic processes while building a career in premium mortgage services.

As a Loan Specialist, you will be responsible for managing 10-15 applications monthly and progressing to full capacity (40+ applications) within 90 days. You will work closely with our Senior Loan Specialist and Strategy team to develop expertise across all application types while contributing to the systematic excellence that sets us apart from traditional mortgage brokers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit mortgage applications prepared by our strategy team with exceptional attention to detail
  • Start with simpler refinance applications and progress to complex purchase scenarios under guidance
  • Manage application workflows using Broker Engine and Apply Online platforms
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers, and various third parties
  • Handle discharge processes with outgoing lenders and manage settlement coordination

Experience Requirements:
  • Mortgage processing experience preferred but exceptional candidates new to the industry will be considered
  • Understanding of Australian lending landscape (basic knowledge acceptable, comprehensive training provided)
  • Proficiency with Apply Online or similar platforms (training provided for specific systems)
  • Administrative or customer service background demonstrating attention to detail and client focus
  • Technology comfort for learning new systems and optimizing digital workflows
