Operational Excellence Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to serve as an Operational Excellence Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will drive actions to analyze, optimize, and standardize cross-functional processes.

This is an opportunity to join our global technology company that specializes in debt collections software for financial services and utilities. Our enterprise SaaS platform is used in over 50 countries, delivering measurable improvements in collections, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Improvement
  • Improve, Optimize and Standardize Processes
  • Identify, assess, optimize and document core business processes in collaboration with key stakeholders to increase efficiency, velocity, scalability, and quality across teams
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement through effective mechanisms such as training, coaching, and post-mortem facilitation, to promote ongoing learning and optimization
  • Operational Frameworks
  • Develop and Maintain Operational Frameworks
  • Design and implement simple, structured frameworks that enable teams to work consistently, efficiently, and with clarity
  • Ensure frameworks remain relevant through regular review and iteration
  • Compliance Support
  • Audit & Compliance Support
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring processes are properly documented, implemented, and monitored
  • Performance Tracking
  • Support Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on companywide KPIs using dashboards and data insights to evaluate the impact of process improvements and support informed, data-driven decision-making
  • Change Management
  • Support Change and Project Management
  • Participate in change initiatives, including stakeholder coordination, project management, requirements analysis, design, etc
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering or Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or similar roles, preferably within the IT or software industry
  • Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with lean methodologies and tools (e.g. A3, Root Cause Analysis, Dynamic Work Design, Toyota Production System)
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills to gather input, troubleshoot issues, and align diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to simplify complex workflows and design efficient, scalable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
