Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive technical excellence and spearhead the growth of our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Execution & Delivery
    • Develop and implement technical strategies to ensure high-quality delivery of projects.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical initiatives.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop scalable architectures.
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent in software engineering.
    • Establish clear goals and performance expectations for team members.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
  • Process and Quality Improvements
    • Design and implement lightweight processes to enhance engineering velocity, quality, and reliability.
    • Champion code quality, test automation, observability, and security best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in engineering management.
  • Strong technical background in modern web development (e.g. Python, Node.js, Golang, React).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, IaC).
  • Experience working in high-velocity teams that ship iteratively while maintaining high standards.
  • Clear communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
