About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join our Information Technology Group. The role will lead the technical delivery of IT projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget completion while meeting business and compliance requirements.

This position requires a highly skilled leader with strong project management expertise, preferably in financial systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, scope, and estimates while managing IT project implementation.

  • Align with Project Managers on technical outcomes, delivery timelines, and resource planning.

  • Lead project kick-offs, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with company SDLC and governance processes.

  • Manage vendors, technical deliverables, and project risks/issues with proactive resolution and escalation.

  • Train, mentor, and oversee developers, analysts, and testers to ensure quality deliverables.

  • Coordinate with application owners, IT operations, and architects to align technical outputs with organizational standards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned and sharing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree holder (IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-time IT Project Manager, Technical Lead, or Delivery Lead (preferably in banking or financial institutions).

  • Experience in complex financial applications implementation is highly preferred.

  • Strong background in Project Management methodologies (PMI/PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban – at least 2 years).

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

Work Arrangement

  • First 3 months: Full onsite reporting in Makati and Ortigas.

  • After 3 months: Hybrid setup (onsite 2x a week).
